Indications

Precipitins are seen in patients with extrinsic allergic alveolitis e.g. Chronic aspergillosis, ABPA, farmer’s lung, bird fanciers lung. Other fungal/organic elements may be involved in the pathology but are not routinely measured, please discuss with the lab.
