Indications
Potassium channel antibodies are found in patients with acquired neuromyotonia (40-50%), Morvan's syndrome, limbic encephalitis and facio-brachial dystonic seizures (FBDS). There is an association with thymoma or small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC). LG1 and CASPR2 are the most common complex components associated with disease but the VGKC is the recommended screening test.
