Indications
This test detects the presence of kappa and lambda free light chains, and expresses these as a ratio, the sFLC ratio. It contributes to a clinical and laboratory features in the diagnosis of myeloma and other B cells dyscrasias. High and low ratios are abnormal as this reflects a skewed proportion of lambda or kappa light chains.
